Do you say fabrics or textiles? What is the difference? I guess textile is a much broader term? Is one more "arty" than the other? Mmmmm. . . . . Just something I thought about as I looked at what I have been doing since I got back from Nelson. And "arty" what does that mean? What is "art", "craft", "fine art" or "applied art" etc. Are there distinctions or differences? Or is it all pretentious nonsense? I would love to know what you think. Sometimes I get really tied up in such questions.
When I got home I was tidying and organising and put these fabrics together to make a small collage. It is decidedly not square but I quite liked that.
Nelson with my grandchildren was fabulous and not much wind. I learned heaps - like not to cut off my nose hairs because then my snot might leak out.
And I am writing a belated "Studio News". Subscribe on my website to get first hand what's happening.
